Executive Administrator of paws4people®, Megan Laughinghouse, states “As we celebrate our 20th year, we are so excited to have teamed up with the North Carolina Azalea Festival to host the Wilmington’s first ever Paws on Parade! Join us for a fun-filled day at Greenfield Lake on Saturday, March 23rd. After the race, you and your dog can enjoy our Puppy Pageant, where judges will crown a King and Queen, Best Trick, Best Owner-Dog Look-alike, Best Dressed (southern attire), and even an award for the Ugliest Dog! Other activities include a 50/50 Raffle, Puppy Kissing Booth, goodies from various local vendors and much much more. Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome to participate with their owners. This event will raise funds to enable us to transform and save even more lives through the placement of highly-trained Service Dogs. We hope to see you there!”
