Greetings from the Wilmington Jewish Film Festival!

We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy in this new reality we are all experiencing. Part of that reality is our annual festival, scheduled to begin the end of the month will have to be postponed and hopefully rescheduled for late summer.

Rather than postpone the entire festival, we decided to bring a portion of what we had planned for you to view online.  Thus, we are presenting to you our virtual FIDDLERFEST!  You can join us anytime between Sunday, April 5 at noon through Monday, April 6 at 11:59 pm on our website to view two films free of charge.

You can start off your “fiddler” experience with the delightful short film, The Fiddle. Next is the documentary of the making of Fiddler on the Roof called Fiddler: Miracle of Miracles.  Finally, if you have never seen the original Fiddler on the Roof or want to see it again, we will provide you the links to various streaming sites where you can view it either free through a membership, or pay-per-view. We were planning to show the film during our festival but unfortunately could not get the permission to include it as part of our online FIDDLERFEST.  The first two films can be watched anytime during the 36 hour period, however there are no time restrictions for Fiddler on the Roof.

FIDDLERFEST can be accessed from our website or click here.

If you need a nosh while enjoying the films, Beach Bagels has offered a 10% discount on bagel orders, to be picked up anytime Sunday or Monday at all of their locations. Your orders must be called in 24 hours in advance. Check our website for details and for individual locations.

In addition, we are pleased to be able to offer you the documentary, On The Map, from now until April 5th which can also be accessed through our website.

We hope this mini-film festival will uplift your spirits and keep you connected with your friends and community.
